Cosmoscow Foundation for Contemporary Art
In its fifth year, Cosmoscow decided to bring together its various non-profit initiatives and integrate them into a separate institution – Cosmoscow Foundation for Contemporary Art. The Foundation harnesses the experience and expertise accumulated by Cosmoscow over the years. The Foundation’s main objectives are the systematic support of contemporary art in Russia, its integration into the international cultural sphere, the promotion of young artists and the development of philanthropy in Russia. The Foundation holds competitions, develops its own projects and provides direct funding to support unique cultural initiatives. The Foundation carries out activities in many areas: education; execution (financial support) of projects and cultural initiatives, selected on both a contest and non-contest basis; purchase of contemporary artworks and their donation to museum collections.
