Glaz Gallery

The Glaz Gallery was founded in 2002 and since then is one of the leading Moscow galleries dealing with photography. The gallery’s funds consist of an impressive (more than 4000) collection of well-known Russian and international artists. Although the gallery specializes in contemporary conceptual photography, works by key photographers of the Soviet era can also be found there. The gallery exclusively represents the estates of Alexander Rodchenko, Dmitry Baltermants, Alexander Abaza, Alexander Viktorov and Alexander Slyusarev. Original prints of their work can be found only at the Glaz Gallery. As for the contemporary Russian photographers, the gallery works with Viktor Akhlomov, Sergey Borisov, Sergey Burasovsky and Vadim Gushchin. The gallery also tends to choose notable young Russian photographers and help them meet viewers and collectors. Ivan Mikhailov, Tim Parchikov and Sofia Tatrinova are now getting a lot of attention in Russia as well as abroad. The gallery sees them as a new face of Russian photography. At this moment the Glaz Gallery is also representing such international photographers as Harry Gruyaert, Marco Delogu and Bogdan Konopka. The gallery is proud to work with Sarah Moon, Alex Webb and other international photographers. Gallery is participating in various Russian and international art fairs, including the major photography fair, Paris Photo. Artists showcased at Cosmoscow 2017: Fedor Savintsev, Lena Vazhenina.
