FUTURO

FUTURO gallery of contemporary art was founded in Nizhny Novgorod in 2016. The gallery building is an architectural monument with saved interiors of the 19thcentury. It provides new visual opportunities for the exhibition. The gallery pays special attention to the strengthening of the local art scene, as well as international experiments, which leads to creating a platform for cultural exchange. One of the main missions of FUTURO is searching and presentation of innovative trends of contemporary art. As a result, cooperation with new artists is an important part of the gallery work.

As part of Cosmoscow, the gallery’s booth displays the works of Maxim Trulov and Ksyusha Lastochka – a duo of street artists, ideologists, and founders of YOUR MUM'S KNIGHT art group. The recognizable artistic style of the authors is based on two principles: black and white color scheme and graphic images. Maxim Trulov and Ksyusha Lastochka create their works according to their own Universe of characters.
