Elohovskiy Gallery

Elohovskiy Gallery is a contemporary art gallery founded in a historic late 18th-century mansion in the Basmanny district of Moscow. Today, the gallery team continues its online activities, developing the Elohovskiy Art platform and realizing pop-up exhibitions in cooperation with leading independent and institutional venues.

We support contemporary artists and create conditions in which their expression becomes visible and meaningful for professional and general audiences. Working with the archive and the collection helps us to build a meaningful dialogue between current art and history. This is a key part of our curatorial practice and the basis for a deeper understanding of the artistic process, both for viewers and for the authors themselves.

Elohovskiy Gallery’s mission is to develop contemporary forms of exhibiting through cooperation with state museums, private galleries, and independent institutions.
