SUBSTATION is an interdisciplinary creative platform founded by curator Sabina Chagina in 2023. Twenty years of experience and expertise in the field of contemporary art, music, and communication have identified the key areas of work but have not limited them — the platform affirms an approach without genre and stylistic boundaries, a focus on art as a process, and communication as the basis of any creativity. The platform’s activities are aimed at creating new multi-genre and experimental formats that unite communications between various participants in the field of modern culture and business representatives.

Our gallery combines the functions of an exhibition space and an art agency, presenting artists working with the urban environment. We host regular exhibitions of authors whose practices are connected to the transformation of public space. The gallery features both limited edition pieces and unique pieces available for purchase. The primary focus is on supporting artists exploring the interaction between art and urban context.
