Association of Galleries (AGA)

The Association of Galleries (AGA) is a nonprofit organization uniting 40 contemporary art galleries. It was established to protect the interests of art market players at private, national, and international levels and is a member of the Federation of European Art Galleries Associations (FEAGA).

The Association’s key goals include fostering the professional community, strengthening the Russian art market’s economy, supporting member galleries, and cultivating a new generation of collectors through its own initiatives.

Over five years of operation, the Association has developed a set of regulatory documents, including the “Code of Professional Ethics for Art Market Participants” and “Formal Aspects of Pricing in Edition-Based Art,” and launched several projects to advance the industry, ranging from a collectors’ school to its own |catalog| contemporary art fair.
