Shift

Shift is a contemporary art gallery founded in 2023 by Vladislav Dukhanin and Daria Kuznetsova.

The name of the gallery reflects our main aspiration, to make visible the art that gives people the opportunity to feel a shift within themselves. Therefore, Shift Gallery focuses on promoting unconventional mediums alongside traditional forms of visual art, ranging from painting and photography to video art and installations. The gallery participates in leading Russian and international art fairs (Cosmoscow, |catalog|, blazar, Сontour, Art Busan) and collaborates with museum institutions (the Ural Branch of the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts; Multimedia Art Museum, Moscow; Moscow Museum of Modern Art, among others). The works of the gallery’s artists are held in private and museum collections worldwide.

As part of its popular science activities, the gallery publishes a journal of the same name, with articles written by leading art critics in Russia.
