KGallery

KGallery was founded in St. Petersburg in 2005. The core of the gallery’s collection is a major private collection of Russian and Soviet art, the formation of which began in the mid-1980s.

The collection features masterpieces of Russian art from the 19th and 20th centuries, ranging from mid-19th-century academic art, the works of Peredvizhniki and artists of the Silver Age to the Avant-garde, as well as dozens of canvases by leading masters of the Soviet era and a unique collection of propaganda porcelain from the 1920s and 1930s. In recent years, the gallery has expanded its collection to include rare examples of Soviet unofficial art from the 1930s to the 1980s.

Since its foundation, KGallery has actively collaborated not only with private collectors, featuring their works in its exhibitions, but also with state museums. Works from the gallery’s collection are also frequently included in exhibitions at state museums.

The gallery regularly hosts various educational projects, including meetings, lectures, and workshops with artists and art historians. It also houses a bookstore and a graphic art department, where visitors can purchase works from the gallery’s collection for their own personal collections.
