OVCHARENKO

OVCHARENKO (until September 2018, Regina Gallery) is one of the first private galleries in Russia, founded in 1990 by Vladimir Ovcharenko. He has fostered the careers of the most influential Russian artists working today and supported the long-term representation of international artists in Russia. For over 30 years, OVCHARENKO's primary goal has been to discover and support talented artists, popularize contemporary art, and develop the Russian art market. The gallery's exhibitions and projects have become part of the history of contemporary art. Among the gallery's artists are Viktor Alimpiev, Pavel Pepperstein, Alexey Kallima, Egor Koshelev, Vlad Kulkov, Leonid Tskhe, and others. OVCHARENKO regularly contributes works to major international contemporary art projects, exhibitions, and biennials. Works by the gallery's artists are held in leading museums worldwide, including the Tretyakov Gallery, the Russian Museum, MoMa (New York), Tate Modern (London), and the Centre Pompidou (Paris).
