PiranesiLAB is a gallery of experimental printmaking built upon the laboratory founded by Alexey Veselovsky in 2016 at Fabrika Center for Creative Industries, one of Moscow’s oldest creative clusters. In addition to its main venue—the laboratory—in 2026 the gallery opened a Cabinet of Print Art at the Winzavod Contemporary Art Center, which regularly hosts exhibitions dedicated to the print practices of contemporary artists.

The laboratory’s practice is centered on collaborative artistic production, creating original print editions with leading figures of the contemporary art scene. Every edition and every print series represents a unique experiment—a dialogue between artist and master printer, exploring the expressive possibilities of the print medium.

The laboratory actively participates in contemporary art fairs and develops collaborative projects with cultural institutions and galleries, including MAMM, AZ/ART, pop/off/art gallery, and a—s—t—r—a gallery, showcasing both the diversity of printmaking as a medium and the distinctive artistic approaches it enables. Since 2024, PiranesiLAB has been a member of the Association of Galleries. Within the Association, the laboratory contributes to the development and promotion of professional standards and conventions for the presentation of print and edition-based art on the contemporary art market.
