The Evgeny Zhudrov Gallery was founded in Kazan in 2016. The gallery’s primary focus is on recognized masters of the Kazan art scene of the 1990s (Ilgiz Gimranov, Ramin Nafikov, Evgeny Golubtsov, Narkis Ponomarev, Gennady Arkhireyev), as well as young Kazan artists who emerged in the last decade (Lena Gryzunova, Alesha, Nikolay Ryabov, Aigul Aktaeva, and others).

In 2017, the gallery launched the project “Kazan Time. Artists of the 1990s.” This project focuses on Kazan artists whose development (or heyday) occurred in the 1990s. The project includes publishing and exhibition activities, as well as collecting and preserving artists’ archives. The gallery collaborates with the State Russian Museum (St. Petersburg), the Erarta Museum (St. Petersburg), the Zaman Museum (Ufa), and all museums and institutions in Kazan. The gallery’s artists have successfully participated in auctions at Sotheby’s (London) and MacDougall’s (London).

The Evgeny Zhudrov Gallery is a member of the Association of galleries.
