SHIFT

SHIFT is a contemporary art gallery founded in 2023 by Vladislav Dukhanin and Daria Kuznetsova.

The gallery’s name reflects its desire to bring to light art that allows viewers to experience an inner shift; therefore, SHIFT focuses on promoting unconventional media alongside traditional forms of visual art (from painting and photography to video art and installations).

The gallery participates in all major Russian art fairs (Cosmoscow, |catalog|, Contur, blazar) as well as international projects (MIA PHOTO FAIR, Milan; Art Busan, South Korea), collaborates with museum institutions (the Ural Branch of the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts; the Multimedia Art Museum, Moscow, and others), and develops its own online media platform dedicated to contemporary art through its website. Works by the gallery’s artists are held in private and museum collections (Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris; Maison Européenne de la Photographie, Paris; Moscow Museum of Modern Art, Garage Museum, Moscow; The Russian Museum, St. Petersburg; and others).
