TIHO GALLERY

TIHO is an independent gallery founded by Irina and Yan Tihonenko in 2024. TIHO creates a space for horizontal communication between artists, curators, gallery owners, collectors, and other participants in the cultural process.

We strive to develop a field where art becomes not an object of remote observation but a basis for dialogue, interaction, and sustainable professional connections. We believe in the ethic of equal participation and that community is a process that requires attention, time, and trust.

The gallery features two open studios where artists work in full view of visitors. This allows visitors to discover the artists' work and interact with them directly, while the artists can work in the inspiring atmosphere of an old mansion in central Moscow, expanding their audience and discovering new ideas.

Thus, the TIHO Gallery not only displays works of art but also actively engages viewers in the creative process, blurring the boundaries between artist and audience, making art an integral part of everyday life.
