В Центре современной культуры «Солодовня» состоялся 12-й Благотворительный аукцион Фонда Cosmoscow в поддержку современного искусства

On April 10, the 12th Cosmoscow Foundation Charity Auction took place at the Solodovnya Center for Contemporary Culture, with the support of partners MR Private, BORK, Beluga, and edis. Collectors and patrons united in their desire to support contemporary Russian artists and contribute to the development of the arts. The event was hosted by Ivan Urgant. Revenue totaled 17.3 million rubles.

The curatorial selection of the lots, together with the Cosmoscow Foundation's expert council, was carried out by Ksenia Chilingarova, a Russian publicist, publisher, poet and collector. The concept of the 12th Cosmoscow auction was centered around a new general theory of perception, which is opposed to mechanistic information processing, factual operations and ready-made value judgments. The theme of the project was designed to emphasize the importance of personal emotional experience caused by the reality of things, their materiality or physicality, their literal presence.

According to the auction results, sales amounted to more than 17.3 million rubles. The proceeds will be directed to the Cosmoscow Foundation to create new works of art, work with collections of Russian museums, organize educational programs and expand non—profit activities.

The absolute record holder in the bidding rounds and the most expensive work sold at auction was the work of LU (Lucy Solovyova) under the name "Lamb" — 3,000,000 rubles. A unique lot from MR.
