The A-House is hosting the  “Unusual Object” exhibition as part of the parallel program of the 13th edition of the Cosmoscow International Contemporary Art Fair

The exhibition curated by Alexey Maslyaev features 11 works from private collections.

The Cosmoscow Foundation approached collectors from among the nominees for the BORK Collector of the Year award to propose one work that, from their point of view, represents the most unconventional form of art in their collections.

The works were provided by: Julia Akimova, Victoria and Alexander Artyomov, Zoya Galeeva, Maria Grudina, Elena Guseynova, Natalia Korenchenko, Leonid Kostin, Ekaterina Lapshina, Sergey Limonov, Natalia Opaleva, Igor Sukhanov.

The works proposed by collectors formed an exhibition of 11 items, the authors of which are well-established and important Russian artists: Uldus Bakhtiozina, Vatsa, Alina Glazoun, Valery Grikovsky, Sergey Kolosov, Irina Korina, Lena Lisitsa, Mayana Nasybullova, Alexander and Liza Tsikarishvili, Alexander Shishkin-Hokusai, Dmitry Krylov, Evgeny Kuzmichev, and Artem Filatov.

The winner of the Collector of the Year award will be announced at the Cosmoscow opening (September 11).
