Charity Projects at the Cosmoscow fair

At Cosmoscow, art once again becomes not only an object of observation, but also a way to take a closer look at other people’s experiences. This year, the fair will present two charitable projects.

“By Touch” Art Project

“By Touch” is a project initiated by social entrepreneur Yulia Knyazhanskaya. It brings together deafblind beneficiaries of the Yaseneva Polyana Resource Center and contemporary artists working across different techniques and media, under the curatorship of art producer Dinara Uvarova. The project’s creative producer is Dazzz Creative Studio.

The project aims to raise awareness of children and adults with sensory impairments. “By Touch” seeks to give them opportunities to engage in creative activities and encourage their participation in cultural events.

The “By Touch” charity art auction will take place on November 11, 2026. All proceeds will go toward supporting existing resource centers and establishing new ones across Russia.

At Cosmoscow International Contemporary Art Fair, the “By Touch” art project invites visitors to experience tactile interaction with works of art — in a way that reflects how deafblind people experience them. Guests will be able to see the invisible: the paintings will be concealed behind QR codes, while their tactile qualities can be experienced through plaster bas-reliefs.

ORBI Stroke Foundation

The “Form of Recovery” booth is the result of a collaborative project by the British Higher School of Art and Design, the ORBI Stroke Foundation, and Lamoda, dedicated to functional clothing.

The project offers a new perspective on clothing and design through the experiences of people for whom everyday actions may require more time and attention.

The focus is on simple yet essential actions: picking something up, putting it on, fastening it, taking it off. These are precisely the actions that underpin everyday independence. Sometimes, that independence begins with a single subtle detail — one that can make a meaningful difference to a person’s quality of life.
