In partnership with Stoleshniki House, the Cosmoscow International Contemporary Art Fair presented a special program. As part of the collaboration, the “Fountain” installation was installed in the space’s courtyard, and the venue’s residents prepared a culinary program inspired by contemporary art.
On September 5, a party for gallery owners participating in the 14th edition of the Cosmoscow fair was held in the Nuance restaurant in the Stoleshniki House courtyard, supported by Beluga and Tête de Cheval. Guests were treated to a special menu of signature appetizers, and the floral design for the event was provided by the Leti Lepestok workshop. Musical accompaniment for the evening was provided by Cosmoscow 2026 Artist of the Year Igor Samolet.
The central element of the program is “Fountain,” an installation that reimagines the traditional functions of everyday objects. Created from used bathtubs and kitchen utensils, the object unites them into a new aesthetic structure. The project references the history of the Factory Kitchen in Samara, whose building now houses the Tretyakov Gallery branch, Cosmoscow Museum of the Year. In Samara, water from the Fountain was used to water the plants in the Common Garden, continuing the factory’s tradition of growing vegetables and tending fruit trees. In the courtyard of Stoleshniki House, the art object finds itself in a new context, becoming part of the space’s architectural and garden ensemble. “Fountain” will be on display at Stoleshniki House from September 2nd to 11th.
The restaurants Nuance, Debut, and FOUND Rāmen & Rekōdo have introduced special menu items that explore the art of gastronomy through the interplay of taste, form, materials, and the preparation process. At Nuance, you can try Cosmos Cow’s Milk, a twist on Aviation, inspired by Oleg Khvostov’s Cosmos Cows series. Debut appeals to the logic of ready-made food, transforming a sausage in dough into a gastronomic object with a direct reference to Maurizio Cattelan’s “Comedian.” FOUND Rāmen & Rekōdo is offering two cocktails: Drunken Confessions, created in dialogue with the eponymous project by Igor Samolet, Cosmoscow 2026 Artist of the Year; and Resonance, which continues the story of “Fountain” through FOUND’s signature principle of combining Food and Sound. The dishes and cocktails are available until September 13.
