Gallery 21 was founded in 2010 by Ksenia Podoynitsyna, since that time it implemented more than 35 exhibitions, including 3 international projects. Working with the most significant contemporary artists Gallery 21 is oriented to the art of the future that is why it exhibits new Russian names and new opportunities of the Russian contemporary art market. Under the “art of the future” we imply the art that deviated from the standard visual image to the sphere of semantic effects, which induces the work with peculiar meaning.
Gallery 21 commits to the research and artistic-aesthetic task of introducing contemporary Russian art to the world community by the developing of Russian artists abroad. Integration into the gallery exhibition schedule various representatives of the international art community promotes an establishment of multidirectional relations between Russian art scene participants and foreign authors (including artists from Europe, America and the Middle East).
Starting 2015 Gallery 21 extends the format of the projects - in collaboration with art institutions both in Russia and abroad gallery presents exhibitions, discussions and seminars.
Artists showcased at Cosmoscow 2017: Marina Zvyagintseva, Vladimir Dubossarsky.
