ART4

ART4 is a Museum selling art. Its history began in 2007 when collector Igor Markin opened Moscow’sfirst private museum of contemporary art in the citycenter. ART4 specializes in the artworks by representatives ofthe second wave of the Russian avant-garde, Moscow conceptualism, Socialist art, and the works of the young promising artists.The Museum collection includes more than 1000 works of the main Russian artists, among them –Ilya Kabakov, Eric Bulatov, Dmitri Krasnopevtsev, Vladimir Veisberg, Vladimir Yakovlev, Dmitri Plavinski, Komar & Melamid, Oleg Kulik, Anatoli Osmolovski and many others, about 150 names in total.

In December 2015, ART4 restarted with new conception. Now, there’s no permanent exhibit in ART4, and exhibition activity includes projects of both masters from ART4 collection and young artists. In 2016, an online auction of contemporary Russian art of a museum quality was launched: now, one may bid for the works already present in ART4 collection.

ART4 actively takes part in Russian and international contemporary art fairs: Cosmoscow (2016, 2017, 2018), Russian Antique Salon (2018, 2019), Art Paris Art Fair (2018), Da!Moscow (2019).
