z2o Sara Zanin Gallery

z2o Sara Zanin Gallery was established in October 2006 by Sara Zanin. Originally located near the Colosseum, in 2012 the gallery moved to its 140 sq.m. prestigious space in the historic centre of Rome, near Piazza Navona. By pointing out its attention on the aspects related to the artists’ practices through an annual programme of exhibitions and collateral events and projects, the multidisciplinary approach of z2o Sara Zanin Gallery focuses on the analysis of global and cultural processes originated by the perspective of the artist as a privileged observer of social and individual phenomena. The gallery takes part in some of the most important Italian and international art fairs – among others, Miart, Artissima, ArtVerona, Arte Fiera, Art Bruxelles – sharing important projects with national and international institutions, such as  Musée d'Art Contemporain de Montréal, Canada, MAXXI - Museo Nazionale delle Arti del XXI Secolo, Rome, Collezione Maramotti, Reggio Emilia, Finnish Embassy, Rome, Maison Européenne de la Photographie, Paris, Biennale di Venezia, Venice, American Academy in Rome, Rome, Quadriennale d’Arte di Roma, Rome.
