Sovcom Gallery

The Sovcom Gallery was founded in 2000 and specializes in sales of classic Russian, Soviet and contemporary art pieces. Since 2004, the Sovcom auction house held regular auctions which set numerous price records for the works of domestic artists of the twentieth century.

Every year, the Gallery holds up to 5 art exhibitions, showcasing the works of recognized masters of the Russian and Soviet art schools as well as emerging contemporary artists and photographers.

Works from the gallery's collection took part in exhibitions at the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, the State Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Institute of Russian Realistic Art, the Museum of Russian Impressionism and many regional museums in Russia. Along with the exhibition and educational activities, Sovcom conducts charity auctions.

Works from the Sovcom collection are purchased by both the Russian museums and by large corporate and private collectors in Russia and abroad. The gallery’s private collection of more than 5,000 works of art is one of the most significant private collections of the national art of the 20thcentury in Russia. The gallery provides expertise services, artwork evaluation, and restoration.
