Quimera

Quimera is a contemporary art gallery based in Buenos Aires that functions as a platform for curatorial, educational and editorial projects. Since its inception, it has positioned itself among the most recognised art galleries in Buenos Aires, participating in the most prominent national and international art fairs. In 2015, Quimera launched its own publishing label, Q • Editora, issuing bilingual publications that promote the samples and production of original graphic work, in partnership with Malevo Estampa. In 2016 it moved to an alternative space, Qubo, for site-specific projects put on by invited artists. The Quimera team works alongside its artists, with a collaborative dynamic, both in the assembly of exhibitions and in the professional development of their careers. Additionally, the gallery encourages interdisciplinary dialogue by inviting curators, artists, and theorists to carry out educational activities with curatorial projects and to provide critical text in publications.
