Anna Nova

St. Petersburg's Anna Nova Gallery was opened in 2005 by Anna and Oleg Barinov. Now it is one of the leading Russian galleries dealing with contemporary art. The gallery works with Russian and international artists and curators. Together they create bold and innovative projects. In their solo shows as well as group exhibitions, artists work in different media, including painting, drawing, sculpture, objects, installation, video and performance.

The gallery’s principles combine freedom and exibility toward creative concepts and formats, characteristic for contemporary art, with strict criteria in their approach to maintaining the standard and quality of art projects. Since 2007 the gallery has been participating in major Russian and international art fairs on a regular basis in order to establish a dialogue between Russian artists and international audiences.

The gallery also offers educational programs, conducts roundtable conferences and lectures regarding the analysis of contemporary art tendencies, national and international trends, and the important aspects of the art market’s functions.

Represented artists: Alexander Dashevskiy, Jury Alexandrov, Rostan Tavasiev, Ivan Plusch, Maxim Svishev, Vlad Kulkov, Marya Dmitrieva, Haim Sokol, Petr Shvetsov, Andrey Kuzkin, Soap art group, Denis Patrakeev, Irina Drozd, Stas Bags, Boris Koshelokhov, Uldus Bakhtiozina, Ilya Seletsky.
