Osnova Gallery

Established in 2014, Osnova Gallery seeks to promote up-and-coming artists to the forefront of the Russian contemporary art scene and include them in the international artistic processes.

Today, Osnova is the only Russian gallery that has become a member of the Liste Art Fair Basel in the last 20 years, and Frieze London in the last 10 years, the most significant events in the field of contemporary art.

Osnova strives to combine the qualities of a classical cultural institution and a modern-day art platform included in the global context and highlighting current artistic processes. By collaborating with local and international curators and artists including Alexandra Sukhareva, Yelena Popova, Henning Strassburger, Evgeny Antufiev, Domenico de Chirico, Nika Neelova and others, the gallery promotes a special approach to artistic activity, vision, and understanding of what contemporary art is today.
