As part of Cosmoscow, Artwin Gallery presents a dialogue project between Vladimir Chernyshev and Ustina Yakovleva who are well known for rethinking traditional artistic practices through the prism of their unique artistic language and mythology. The project was brought to life by the unique situation of the current year when society was faced with the need to rethink most of the mechanisms of its functioning from technological innovations to the importance of non-mediated communication. For the first time in a long time, basic values, skills and social institutions came to the fore of the international agenda. Aainst this background, turning to the study of manual, labor-intensive techniques in the field of contemporary art and the issue of personal mythology and interest in the archaic in the broad sense of the word become relevant again.

Artists presented at Cosmoscow 2020: Vladimir Chernyshev, Ustina Yakovleva.
