Fragment Gallery

Fragment gallery is a Moscow-based contemporary art gallery, focused on promoting artists regardless of their age, gender, nationality or race. Artistic practice of most of them ties around issues of modern world, from social and economic to political. Exhibitions and fair participation of the gallery is regularly featured in international press, such as The Art Newspaper, Artforum, ARTNews, Financial Times, Forbes etc.

In addition to exhibition activities, the gallery regularly hosts an educational program (lectures, master classes and artist talks). Each year the gallery runs international open calls for artists and curators. As extension of gallery programming, in summer 2018 Fragment gallery participated in a gallery-sharing program Vacation in New York, where it hosted two solo shows of the gallery’s artists, one of which was featured by ARTNews as one of the most anticipated events of the week.

In 2019 Sergey Gushchin, the founder of Fragment Gallery, became the first gallerist to be selected for the Residency Unlimited programme «Business Development in Contemporary Art» in New York.
