E.K. ArtBureau

E.K. ArtBureau was established by Elena Kuprina-Lyakhovich in 1991. Its specializes in organizing exhibitions, representing artists, consulting private collectors and carrying out research. E.K. ArtBureau is interested specifically in artists who emerged within Moscow conceptualism in the 1970s and 1980s. Since 2009, E.K. ArtBureau has also been representing up-and-coming artists.

Major projects include:

2006: ‘Glass. Handle with Care’, Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts.

2009: ‘Interpretation of an Object Within the Moscow Conceptual School. From the Collection of the MANI Museum’, Center for Creative Industries Fabrika.

2010: ‘Field of Action’. The Moscow Conceptual School in Context. 1970s–1980s, Ekaterina Cultural Foundation.

2011: ‘Five MANI Folders: An Experiment in Modeling Cultural Space’, Ekaterina Cultural Foundation.

2014: ‘The Voice of Moscow. Exhibition of Young Artists’, Ekaterina Cultural Foundation.

2015: Andrey Filippov’s solo show ‘Department of Eagles’ and ‘InSight. Scenes from Russian Art Life 1986–1991’, Ekaterina Cultural Foundation.

In 2019, E.K. ArtBureau has staged two exhibitions at the Ekaterina Cultural Foundation: Dmitry Lyashenko’s #moon_is_ours and Andrey Filippov’s 'The Ball and the Cross’.
