Heritage Gallery

Heritage Gallery was founded by art critic and collector Kristina Krasnyanskaya.

For 12 years of its history, the gallery has presented more than 80 exhibitions and various events, such as lectures, round tables, and dinners for collectors. The gallery also conducts fair activities, participating in international projects including BRAFA, Nomad, Salon Art + Design Fair (NY). Heritage Gallery is the first and the only long-term Russian participant of the Design Miami/ Basel fair.

Since 2011 the gallery has been developing such direction as collectible design, with an emphasis on Soviet auteur design, European collection design and Russian contemporary art.

In 2019 the book ‘From Constructivism to Modernism’ was published in collaboration with the Swiss publishing house Scheidegger & Spiess. It is the first fundamental research on the history of Soviet design of the 1920–1980. The book brings together unique archival documents and works of art from the Museum of Modernism (Kostaki Collection, Thessaloniki), A. A. Bakhrushin Central Theatre Museum, and the Shschusev State Museum of Architecture.

The gallery cooperates with the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, the State Tretyakov Gallery, the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, the Decorative Art Museum.
