Lumiere Gallery

Lumiere Gallery, founded in 2001 by Natalia Grigorieva-Litvinskaya, specializes in the art of photography. In the spring of 2021, a new space of the Lumiere Gallery opened in a 19th-century mansion on Bolshaya Polyanka Street in Moscow.

The gallery presents vintage, late and modern prints of limited-edition Russian authors, as well as classics of Soviet photography, including Boris Ignatovich, a follower of the constructivist movement, Arkady Shaikhet, a master of reportage, Naum Granovsky, a chronicler of Moscow, Vladimir Lagrange, a singer of the thaw era, and many others.

As a member of the international photographic market for many years, the gallery has established strong ties with photographers and foundations, thanks to which the gallery can find the best examples of outstanding masters of European and American photography: Elliott Erwitt, William Klein, Sheila Metzner, Steve Schapiro, Greg Gorman and others. The gallery actively works with young, but already established authors, such as Laurent Chehere, Rob Woodcox, Paul Brouns.

During its existence, the Gallery has organized more than 200 exhibitions, published 11 author's monographs on the Soviet period in photography.

Since 2005, the gallery has advised and curated private and corporate collections of Russian, European, and American photography of the 20th and 21st centuries.

Exhibition projects organized by the Gallery's curators are successfully implemented by third-party exhibition venues in Russia and abroad.

Artists presented at Cosmoscow 2022: Greg Gorman, Rob Woodcox, Melvin Sokolsky.
