U Contemporary

The exhibition space of the Moscow School of Contemporary Art (MSCA), located on the premises of the Winzavod CCA along with famous Moscow galleries.

U Contemporary is MSCA’s own gallery, a non-profit exhibition space. U Contemporary hosts student and alumni exhibitions to integrate them into an artistic context, help them grow them professionally, introduce them to the art community and a wider audience.

It was no coincidence that the MSCA exhibition space was opened at the Winzavod, since the institution supports new names in contemporary art, creates a sustainable environment for the development of artists and launches important exhibition and research projects for the art community.

Partner of U Contemporary is the curatorial program blip blip blip (UK). Since December 2020, MSCA, together with blip blip blip, has been graduating real exhibition professionals: by implementing international exhibition projects in a team with invited foreign curators, students master and upgrade the skills and competencies necessary for professional growth.
