The Seréne Gallery opened on April 22, 2022 under the creative agency Glyph. The main mission of Seréne is to introduce the viewer to trending contemporary art, to discover new ambitious artists working in various media — from painting and photography to ceramics and sculpture. In the space of the gallery, it is planned to hold discussions, meetings with artists and art business experts.
The gallery opened with a women’s exhibition “Light Plumage”, which featured paintings by Vika Kosheleva, Irina Petrakova, Aziza, Jolie Alien, a metal installation by Liza Bobkova, ceramics by Svetlana Tsepkalo, and photographs by Sasha Mademoiselle. The exhibition dispelled stereotypes about gender orientation in art.
Seréne’s next project was the “Nexus” exhibition of fine art photography by Vladimir Glynin — a project he’s been working on for the last two years resulting in a combination of his favorite genres: abstraction and figurative art.
The gallery closes the 2022 summer season with the “Holidays” exhibition featuring 10 young and promising artists, some of whom are shown in Moscow for the first time.
