XL Gallery opened in 1993, its founders are Elena Selina (curator) and Sergey Khripun (director). During its existence, the gallery has hosted more than 250 exhibitions.
XL Gallery cooperates mainly with Russian artists — from classics of Moscow contemporary art (Viktor Pivovarov, Andrey Monastyrsky, Igor Makarevich, Boris Orlov) to young stars of the Russian art scene (Irina Korina, Blue Soup group, Alexander Povzner, Ilya Dolgov, ZIP group). The main specialization of the gallery is installation projects, video, sculpture, objects.
Artists represented at Cosmoscow 2023: Nikita Alekseev, Irina Korina, Ekaterina Muromtseva, Andrey Reuter.
