MYTH Gallery is a contemporary art gallery in St. Petersburg, founded in 2019. The gallery encourages the careers of developing Russian artists on the basis of long-term cooperation. MYTH implements a rich program of personal and group exhibitions, specializing in experimental and innovative projects. Group curatorial projects are aimed at supporting young curators who change the environment and bring artists to a high professional level.
One of the gallery's key tasks is to increase the number of connoisseurs and collectors of Russian contemporary art both within the country and in the international community. The global vector of development is also important for MYTH, so participation in international art fairs, museum and institutional projects is an integral area of work that promotes dialogue with a new audience.
MYTH Gallery is located in St. Petersburg, in an apartment building of the early twentieth century. Original architectural elements are embedded in the exhibition space. The abbreviation in the name of the gallery stands for My Young True Heroes, because we believe that our artists will become real heroes of modern art and will go down in its history years later. The gallery's authors participate in international exhibition projects, for example, in Amsterdam, Basel, Berlin, Hamburg, London, New York, Paris, Vienna and Zurich.
Artists represented at Cosmoscow 2023: Alina Glazun, Vadim Mikhailov, Egor Fedorichev.
