‘Heritage Gallery

The ‘Heritage Gallery was founded in 2006. Since 2008 the gallery has been located on Petrovka Street, where for 8 years it has been hosting an active exhibition schedule. The gallery has presented more than 80 exhibitions, including events at museum venues, including the State Russian Museum, the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, the All-Russia Museum of Decorative, Applied and Folk Art and the Shchusev State Museum of Architecture. The gallery mainly represents art of the first half of the 20th century and collectable design art, as well as particular contemporary art projects. ‘Heritage Gallery is the first and only Russian gallery represented at the international art Design Miami/Basel fair.

At Cosmoscow 2016 ‘Heritage Gallery introduces a unique Quantum Prayer photo series by contemporary artist Oksana Mas. The project was first presented at the 55th Venice Biennale in 2013. Oksana Mas created a unique series of car engine sculptures conjoint with melted Murano glass. The project’s concept implies that the power of human thought and prayer can work wonders. Initially fragile glass subdues rough metal. It all depends on how vigorous and sincere one’s desire is.
