LUCH Gallery

The contemporary art gallery LUCH was founded in 2009 by curator Sveta Nikolaeva. It was initially conceived as a project aimed at promoting contemporary Russian artists and broadening their presence on the international art scene.

So far The Colours of the Sport is one of the gallery’s most notable projects. It was represented at numerous exhibitions, including the official program of the Sochi-2014 Cultural Olympics and was supported by the Ministry of Sports of Russian Federation and RAA Locomotive.

Since 2013 the LUCH gallery has participated in several international contemporary art fairs in Moscow, Basel, Hong Kong and Korea.

The project involves artists, whose work is characterized by high level of mastership; they are united by a responsible attitude to work in terms of form and content. The list of gallery’s artists includes Andrey Krisanov, Kirill Kipyatkov, Denis Egelsky, Ivan Kochkarev, Denis Alexandrov, Sergey Borisov.
