Grinberg

The Grinberg Gallery was founded in 2007. It specializes in photography conceived as part of contemporary art and participates in artistic collaborations that employ bordering media and approaches (prints, sculpture, painting and multimedia).

The Grinberg Gallery organizes commercial and nonprofit exhibitions on its own and in collaboration with partner galleries, Moscow exhibition halls, museums and other institutions in Russia and around the world. It plays an active role in art fairs and festivals. Presented and supported by the gallery, its artists are shown at important contemporary art biennials (55th Venice Biennale; fifth Moscow Biennale, 2013).

The gallery’s artists are both up-and-comng, having in the few years risen to international stardom, and acclaimed international stars the gallery first exhibited in Moscow to have them included and perceived within the Russian art context.

The artists represented by the gallery include Nikolay Bakharev, Alexander Gronsky, Rena Effendi, Mikhail Ladeyschikov, Antanas Sutkus, Gueorgui Pinkhassov, Trent Parke, Roger Ballen, Saul Leiter, Sergey Chilikov, Igor Chursin, Valery Schekoldin, Evgeny Mokhorev, Sonia and Mark Whitesnow, and Hmeli-Suneli.
