Regina Gallery

Regina Gallery is one of the first art galleries of contemporary art in Moscow founded by Regina and Vladimir Ovcharenko in 1990. Since its very first steps the gallery surprised public with uncommon view on art and eccentric ways of its interpretation. The exhibition projects First-hand Art, Leopards are Burstling Into the Temple, Mutants, etc. were significant for Russian art history of 1990s. With the project On Beauty, curated by Dan Cameron, Regina Gallery became one of the first galleries which started to cooperate with international art stars including Mike Kelly, Lisa Yuskavage, Mariko Mori, Pierre & Giles and Rirkrit Tiravanija.

Today Regina Gallery collaborates with artists from Germany, the Great Britain, Kazakhstan, Russia, Ukraine, the USA, whose works are in collections of Albertina, Vienna; Centre Pompidou, Paris; MUDAM, Luxembourg; MUHKA, Antwerp; MOMA, New York; Tate Modern, London; the State Tretyakov Gallery, Moscow; the State Russian Museum, St. Petersburg; MMOMA, Moscow.

Regina Gallery constantly participates in international art fairs such as Frieze London & New York, Art Basel & Art Basel Miami, Vienna Contemporary and presents the best contemporary art from Russia, appealing to its vast experience.
