MSK Eastside

Contemporary art gallery in Moscow with two locations, active in both the primary and secondary markets. For the last 4 years gallery owner Wildrik Batjes and team have proven to be a major force in discovering local career-driven artists working in different disciplines from conceptual art to contemporary photography to abstract expressionism and graffiti-writing. The gallery team has curated and produced exhibitions for the Moscow Museum of Modern Art and has been active with auction houses such as Phillips, Christie’s and Art Curial.

A raw impressive loft of MSK Eastside / Fabrika since its inception in 2012 has been dedicated to exhibiting untapped talent. Сurates and produces its annual collective exhibition The New Wave UNCUT which focuses on the emergence of a new generation of local prolific artists working in diverse genres offering collectors an opportunity to discover works from the start of their careers.

The gallery’s 2nd and new location MSK Eastside / Center opened in 2016, becoming the gallery’s main venue which focuses mainly on intellectual conceptualism in the context of The New Society showcasing groundbreaking works from social, geopolitical and minimalistic concepts.
