Pechersky Gallery was founded by the collector Marina Pecherskaya in 2011. Representation of the artists of the Post-Soviet context was chosen as the definitive feature of the gallery. The gallery often crosses the boundaries of the common gallery exhibition activities and creates projects in the public art sphere. Among the significant events are GOSZAKAZ exhibition and the Art Line. The Courtesy Route co-project with the Moscow trolley lines.
The main goal of the gallery is the formation of the new image of the Russian art at the international art scene and the representation of the most contemporary, cutting-edge and outstanding examples of contemporary art inside and outside of Russia.
