This year, the fair was attended by over 55,000 people.
The renovated VEB Centre (31, Novinsky Boulevard) hosted a party for Cosmoscow 2025 gallery owners and the closing ceremony of the Sudden Oasis exhibition, which featured works by Cosmoscow participating artists.

The fair is taking place on two floors of the Timiryazev Centre exhibition venue (6/1, Verkhnyaya Alley) and is open to visitors from September 12 to 14, 2025.
This year, the fair increased its area to 15,840 square meters and is located on two floors of the Timiryazev Centre. The guests were introduced to 100 gallery and 20 partner stands, India: How the Spirit Becomes Matter special project, the Persian Section and 12 non-profit cultural projects. The educational and discussion programs of the fair will be held in the lecture hall and media forum.
The Cosmoscow Foundation will traditionally present projects demonstrating the diversity of the current Russian contemporary art scene. Among them: Cosmoscow 2025 Artist of the Year, Museum of the Year and the Collector’s Eye stand which presents the collection of the winner of the BORK Collector of the Year award, established jointly with the Cosmoscow Foundation. Expanding its program, Cosmoscow will also provide a platform for 8 cultural projects and initiatives at the fair. The fair will also offer a diverse educational program.
The Cosmoscow Foundation approached collectors from among the nominees for the BORK Collector of the Year award to propose one work that, from their point of view, represents the most unconventional form of art in their collections.
On September 14 (at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.) the new PERFORMA festival of performing arts will present a special event as part of the Cosmoscow International Contemporary Art Fair. The Horse Hour kinetic drama performance is a collaboration with the Context. Diana Vishneva and multimedia artists Panterra. It is a plastic exploration of human interaction with new forms of mind.
Cosmoscow fair will host 97 galleries and will take place in the Russian capital on September 12–14, with preview on September 11. Following last year’s practice of introducing the international gallery section, artworks from 3 galleries from India will be presented as a special "COLLECTORS" project at Cosmoscow. The renovated VEB Centre (31, Novinsky Boulevard) was turned into an art space. For a month, it will house works by contemporary artists from among Cosmoscow contemporary art fair participants. In the central atrium of the VEB Centre, the unique Sudden Oasis art project will feature a range of sculptures and installations, transforming the space into a refreshing oasis amidst the bustling city.
The BORK Collector of the Year Award was announced at the 12th Cosmoscow Foundation Charity Auction and is being held for the first time. The initiative aims to popularize collecting for the development of the Russian contemporary art industry, as well as to create opportunities and favorable conditions for recognizing personal contributions to the formation of the art market.
Based on the results of the selection, the nominees for the BORK “Collector of the Year” award included: Dmitry Aksenov, Sergey Limonov, Natalia Opaleva, Igor Sukhanov, and others.
The visual style of the 13th edition of Cosmoscow International Contemporary Art Fair is based on the gesture of temporary fixation, on the rehearsal, installation nature of the exhibition space, and refers to the works of Cosmoscow 2025 Artist of the Year, the PROVMYZA art group. The 13th edition of Cosmoscow International Contemporary Art Fair will take place across two floors of the Timiryazev Centre exhibition space (Verkhnyaya Alley, 6/1) on September 11–14, 2025. Collectors and members of the art community will have the first opportunity to view the exhibition during Cosmoscow Preview on September 11. On April 10, the 12th Cosmoscow Foundation Charity Auction took place at the Solodovnya Center for Contemporary Culture, with the support of partners MR Private, BORK, Beluga, and edis. Collectors and patrons from the region sought to support contemporary Russian artists and contribute to the development of the arts. Ivan Urgant hosted the event. Revenue totaled 17.3 million rubles.
On the day of the auction preview, the Cosmoscow Foundation announced the winners of its annual programs. The PROVMYZA art group was named Cosmoscow Artist of the Year 2025, the Ploschad Mira Museum Center, Krasnoyarsk was named Cosmoscow Museum of the Year 2025, and the Fabrika Center for Creative Industries, Moscow was named Cosmoscow Institution of the Year 2025.
On December 11, with the support of SberFirst, Vesper, THE UGLY DUCK (TUD), Beluga and Tête de Cheval brands, Unika, and BAIKAL, the New Year’s Party: Cosmoscow x Pianissimo took place at the penthouse of the Vesper Tverskaya clubhouse, offering panoramic views of Moscow. The highlight of the evening was the brilliant performance of pianist Philipp Rudenko, performing as part of the Pianissimo music festival.
The fair was visited by more than 50,000 people, which became an absolute record in the more than 10-year history of Cosmoscow.
Jessica Gallery was awarded the “Best Booth” award at Cosmoscow 2024. The stand was an excerpt from a movie in which the hero rushes along a night road, shabby billboards, tired of the marketing burden, flash on the right, villages and rusty bicycles flash by on the left. SOUND UP performa: korowod, a unique multimedia event at the intersection of music, immersive theatre and video art, will feature artist Ilya Starilov, director Yuri Kvyatkovsky, band Zventa Sventana, and Folklore Ensemble of the Gnesin Academy exploring folklore in contemporary culture. For one hour, the musicians will embark on a fascinating journey from authentic songs of Russian villages to a techno party.
This season, the fair will present more than 1,500 works of contemporary art from 91 galleries. In addition, as part of the non-profit program, the Cosmoscow Foundation will show the projects of the winners of its 2024 programs: “Museum of the Year”, “Institution of the Year” and “Artist of the Year”. “Artist of the Year” - Alexandra Garth - will present the work “The Persistence of Fun and Dirt” in the form of a massive metal structure covered with wooden boards, the heavy frame of which supports horse figures placed around the perimeter. “Museum of the Year” - Volgo-Vyatka branch of the Pushkin Museum named after. A.S. Pushkin (Arsenal) - will offer visitors an interactive installation dedicated to the Arsenal library, which is expected to be transformed in the near future. “Institution of the Year” - the Center for Urban Culture (Perm) - will be presented with a stand with an expressive architectural design in the form of a rotunda. The inside of the building will be decorated with a variety of materials left over from projects created at the Central City Building over the past 8 years.
