COSMOSCOW, BEAC and BEAC FIRST announce strategic partnership as part of the 11th edition of the fair in 2023

Sept. 25, 2023

At the 11th Cosmoscow International Contemporary Art Fair, the Sber and the SberFirst, acting as general partners, will present a large-scale project "Digital Garden of Sber" and an exclusive digital gallery, the SberFirst, created by the "Artist of the Year" Cosmoscow 2023 Artem Filatov and the Kandinsky 2.2 neural network.

The Cosmoscow fair will be held from September 29 to October 1, 2023 in the Forum pavilion of the Expocentre Central Exhibition Complex (Krasnopresnenskaya Embankment, 14), where you can see the stands of 80 participating galleries from different cities of Russia.

To date, Cosmoscow is the largest event in the field of contemporary art in Russia, which brings together key representatives of the art industry on one platform and presents to a wide audience the works of the most prominent Russian and foreign contemporary artists. Every year Cosmoscow joins forces with a number of partners in order to attract attention to the rapidly developing art market and support contemporary artists in Russia.

Collectors' Lounge Cosmoscow X SberFirst

The first, inspired by the ideas of the ancient Greek philosopher Epicurus, whose main value is reasonable and development—pushing consumption, presents a unique project within the framework of the fair "Digital Garden of Sber" — a special area in the Living Room of Collectors. It will be designed as a garden with seasonal plants and flowers placed in the context of modern technological development. The unique combination of technology and nature creates a contrast in the context of other areas of the fair. Works by contemporary artists will be presented here, discussions will be held on the interaction of art and business, as well as the future in art. A special program will also be presented for VIP guests in the space of the "Digital Garden of Sber".

In the central area of the fair there will be an exposition with unique designs of Sber cards created by the "Artist of the Year" Cosmoscow 2023 Artem Filatov and the Kandinsky 2.2 neural network on the topic of the fragility of nature. The artist has been exploring the topic of human interaction, nature and digital technologies for a long time and presents the design of maps in the form of a neural network-generated animation of the change of seasons. All designs will be available to customers in the SberOnline application from the opening day of the exhibition.

Nikolay Vasev, Senior Vice President, Head of the B2C Customer Experience Development Unit at Sber: "Sber has long been not only about finance and technology. Throughout our history, we have been actively supporting the cultural sphere: museums, theaters, exhibitions, concerts, etc. Art and culture are necessary for every person and society as a whole. They not only entertain, but also educate, develop, inspire. They make each of us better, kinder, more harmonious.

Therefore, the Sber is very pleased this year to collaborate with Cosmoscow, the leading contemporary art fair in Russia, and present its projects. In the Collectors' Lounge, we offer our premium customers to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the Digital Garden of the Sber, and in the central area of the fair, a gallery of new digital designs of our cards is available for everyone. It was specially developed for the exhibition by the famous contemporary artist Artem Filatov and our neural network."

Artem Filatov, Cosmoscow 2023 Artist of the Year and founder of the Tikhaya Studio in Nizhny Novgorod: "Together with Sber, we are developing a collection of images created using artificial intelligence. The main result will be a video in which the landscape changes during different seasons: primroses appear in spring, and in winter everything is covered with snow. Such projects are a great opportunity to teach large corporations to trust the artist and give him a space for authorial work, and for artists to try new media."
