
The growing interest in the restoration of architectural heritage sites, the revival of traditional crafts and trades, the search for national identity and the much-discussed cultural code of ancient Russian cities calls for unconventional approaches. Finding a balance between the originality of a place, stylisation and contemporary reinterpretation will be the focus of a discussion with practitioners from different fields.
