Limonov Art Foundation

Limonov Art Foundation was founded in 2023 by entrepreneur and collector Sergei Limonov. The foundation's activities are aimed at supporting and developing contemporary Russian art and involve acquiring works and organizing art events of various formats. At the Cosmoscow fair, the foundation will present Zverinets (The Menagerie), a project by Vladimir Kopeikin, a young rising star of the Russian art scene. Open to the viewer's presence, the installation will combine a stained-glass exhibition with a sculptural group depicting animals. Made from sheet lead, the animal figures appear naturalistic, but the steel structures supporting them suggest otherwise: their natural essence requires cultural props, stands, and crossbars in order to be manifested.
