11:00 AM — 8:00 PM Thread Art - Creating Pictures with Thread
This technique transforms everyday materials into tools for artistic expression. Children will be able to experiment with line, shape, color, and texture, creating their own compositions.
A workshop of imagination and transformation. Participants will create their own magic wands and party hats, inventing their own color, shape, and special details. Here, everyone can temporarily become the creator of their own fairytale universe.
The program also includes decorative compositions, thread weaving, and a large creative area where each child can contribute to the creation of a shared artistic work.
In collaboration with the Young Art Critic House of Culture, a special lecture series, "On the Edge of Fashion and Art," will be held within the Kangaroo Children's Zone.
1:00 PM — 1:40 PM Salvador Dalí × Elsa Schiaparelli "Surrealism in Fashion"
How did Surrealist ideas end up on clothing? Why did Dalí and Schiaparelli create pieces that resembled works of art? And where is the line drawn between painting, object, and costume?
3:00 PM — 3:40 PM Sergei Diaghilev and the Ballets Russes: "When an Artist Creates a Costume"
Diaghilev's ballets as a space for art, theater, and fashion to meet. Artists, set design, and costumes as a unified visual image of the performance.
6:00 PM — 6:40 PM Varvara Stepanova and the Russian Avant-garde "Necessary Clothes"
How did the Russian avant-garde propose rethinking clothing and making it functional, modern, and accessible? A lecture on Varvara Stepanova, constructivism, and the idea of clothing as a new design object.
The lectures are given by Adelina Vseznaykina, head of the Young Art Critic House of Culture.
