Cosmoscow Kids programme is designed and carried out by the School of Modern Art (SOMA). This year the Cosmoscow Kids programme is dedicated to the environment. In a playful and engaging manner children are encouraged to consider the humankind's impact on the immediate environment and the planet as a whole. The highlight of the 3-day programme shall be a collaborative art project entitled “The world in the palm of your hand”, inspired by the work of René Magritte.

Topic of the day: "Ecosystem"
The main task of the day is to create unique ecosystems using modern art techniques, recycled materials and unorthodox textures. The works of Ivan Gorshkov will serve as a source of inspiration.
12 pm - 3 pm Creating elements of the microecosystem.
2 pm - 5 pm Creating a microecosystem.
5 pm - 8 pm Creating a colored background for the mega-circle No. 2 in the 3D-collage technique.
4 pm - 8 pm Creation a mega-circle No. 1 in collage technique.
September 9
Theme of the day: "Sustainability"
The main task for this day is to ensure that we use our resources sustainably; the children will be encouraged to think creatively in order to invent various ways of using existing materials and products instead of creating new ones.
12 pm - 2 pm Preparing for the creation of a three-dimensional mega-circle No. 2.
1 pm - 4 pm Creating a 3D model of a new generation kindergarten.
2 pm - 4 pm Creating a microecosystem.
3 pm - 7 pm Creating a mega-circle No. 2 in the technique of a three-dimensional collage.
4 pm - 8 pm Creating circles in different techniques.
September 10
Theme of the day: "Cyclicity"
Topic of the day: Circular economy
On this day, the children shall explore the principle of circular economy in the context of natural disasters. They will be encouraged to invent various artful designs of portable floating housing out of recycled materials which might save lives of the victims of floods and tropical monsoons.
12 pm - 8 pm Creating land-art.
2 pm - 6 pm Creating a mega-circle No. 3.
3 pm - 8 pm Creating new generation temporary housing.
4 pm - 8 pm Creating the final installation “The world in the palm of your hand”.
