The programme welcomes kids to become co-creators of large-scale abstract sculpture. For three days, the kids' area of the Fair will live its own life: changing colors and textures, freeze and move, increase and decrease, expand or contract. We will record the unpredictability of the process and the contribution of each participant with a camera by taking one photo each hour.
In much the same way as contemporary artists, we will work with different materials and techniques, invent stories and draw patterns, create kaleidoscopes, “transparent paintings” and even become part of the sculpture itself with the help of unusual headwear. Everyone will leave their mark, which will become the beginning for reflection and creativity of the next participant.
The programme is the basis for the unique MMOMA KIDS TEEN FAMILY course at the Museum’s Education Center. Contemporary artists will become teachers and share their skills with museum’s guests, regardless of their age.
