Art Through a Child's Eyes: How to Talk to Children About Contemporary Art

How do you introduce a child to contemporary art for the first time? Is it necessary to explain the context in advance and talk about the artist, or is it better to give them the opportunity to look on their own, ask questions, and come up with their own interpretations? How do you prepare for a museum visit, what do you do if a child gets bored, and where is the line between an educational conversation and imposing the "correct" reading?
