ARTIST OF THE YEAR - PAVEL OTDELNOV

Pavel Otdelnov declared as "Artist of the Year." At the 8th International Cosmoscow contemporary Art Fair in September 2020, Pavel Otdelnov will present his new art project which will be created especially for the upcoming fair.

Pavel Otdelnov was born in 1979, in Dzerzhinsk and graduated from Moscow State Academic Art Institute named after V.I.Surikov. Later, Otdelnov switched to contemporary art and went to the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA). 

In 2015 and 2017, he was nominated for the Kandinsky Prize ("Project of the Year"); in 2017 – he became a laureate of the Sergey Kuryokhin Contemporary Art Award (special prize of the French Institute). This year, Pavel entered into the short-list of the Innovation State Prize – in the nomination “Artist of the Year”.
